Food

EHouse provides groceries for community dinners Mondays through Thursdays, with all adult residents and staff members preparing meals in turn. Good nutrition is a priority, especially among a population prone to diabetes and heart disease. Therefore, we provide training on preparing healthy meals to meet the nutritional needs of our community.

Our open pantry is always stocked with plenty of breakfast and lunch foods for the families. We offer food baskets to former residents just establishing themselves independently, and welcome everyone back for dinner if in need of sustenance or support from the community.

Do you enjoy cooking? If so, EHouse needs you! We are always on the look out for cooks to join our residents in the kitchen as they plan, prepare and serve a nutritious meal for the rest of the House. If you're interested in volunteering as a cook or cook's helper, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
