Housing

EHouse residents pay a modest monthly rent (typically about 30% of their income, or around $330/mth), that includes all utilities and most food needs. Families live at the House for an average stay of one year. We provide an environment of dignity and equality, emphasizing that this is their home.

Nine out of ten residents successfully transition to permanent, independent housing upon leaving EHouse. We assist the 10% that do not successfully transition into independent housing in accessing longer-term transitional housing (if necessary), treatment facilities (in the case of addiction relapse) or other arrangements to assist them in getting closer to their goals.
