Lori

New Staff Position at EHouse

Meet our new Associate Director! In March 2008, Oakland Elizabeth House welcomed Lori Ottolini Geno to our staff following a long tenure as an EHouse volunteer.  Lori has worked with EHouse residents, staff and volunteers as a meeting facilitator and has presented in-service seminars at our weekly house meetings.  Lori comes to us with a strong background in child development and a degree in Public Administration.

In her new role as  Resident Life Coordinator Lori’s focus is on resident life, serving as a point of contact for residents, to provide structure, resources, and support.  We want to increase our capacity to help the women develop and implement their plan of action, by providing a safe supportive, holding environment where real work can happen, setting the stage for true independence and self-reliance.

This position is a tremendous opportunity for Oakland Elizabeth House to widen impact for the women who come to live at Elizabeth House and to enhance the abilities of the organization in delivering services to women and their children. We are delighted to welcome Lori to our EHouse community in this new role.
