As Oakland’s team, we are committed to enriching the health, vitality, and happiness of Oakland and the East Bay through sports and civic service with inspiring partners like you. A big part of what we ask from our community partners is to help tell the story of what we are doing together to serve our community.

Kevin has been publicly acknowledged for his incredible involvement in his community giving back and being present in doing so. Once again his presence (and mountains of presents) for the families of Oakland Elizabeth House made it a holiday to remember. Warriors’ Shaun Livingston surprises Bay Area families with holiday shopping spree

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Three Bay Area families were stunned to see an ABC7 News crew welcome them to the Levi Strauss and Co headquarters in San Francisco on Sunday.
Eboni Williams and Winnie Lyons were told they’d be going holiday shopping with their children and the Golden State Warriors cheerleaders as a reward for their progress at Oakland Elizabeth House. The home serves as a residence for women and children who’ve experienced homelessness, violence, or addiction.

MB Jesse Painting Team donated time and services to give Oakland Elizabeth house a wonderful exterior makeover. Last year MB Jesse donated their services to transform the interior with fresh painted walls and trim. We are so grateful for their team once again giving back and helping keep our facilities looking great.

Kevin Durant gives Christmas presents to Oakland Elizabeth House

At Oakland Elizabeth House, a “cooperative living environment” for women and children who need help transitioning out of violent homes or homelessness, Durant played Santa for a second year in row — literally bringing Christmas to people who otherwise would not have one.
MB Jessee Donates Services To Oakland Elizabeth House

MB Jesse so generously donated their painting services to the Oakland Elizabeth House as part of their 2015 Project Color charity giveaway. As part of the efforts to help beautify and restore the building, their team painted the interior of the building including the dining room, kitchen, pantry, recreation room and office. Twenty seven of their skilled painters were there to assist with the painting of various rooms in the building.
